Vintage botanical oil painting on canvas with original gold leaf, decorative wood frame with beaded edge. Vertical-hanging piece (wired for hanging) with finished back. Floral imagery in rich reds with surrounding deep green foliage. While the exact date of the piece is unknown, the "Frost & Adams" label on the back of the original frame indicates that it is from the late 1800's during which time Frost & Adams was the premiere dealer of art supplies in New England.
