Description: Fine quality antique Victorian mahogany inlaid cylinder bookcase having a quality inlaid swan neck pediment above a pair of mahogany … more Fine quality antique Victorian mahogany inlaid cylinder bookcase having a quality inlaid swan neck pediment above a pair of mahogany inlaid shaped glazed bevelled edge doors opening to reveal three mahogany shelves with satinwood stringing. The satinwood marquetry inlaid sides are fabulous as is the cylinder desk below which boasts stunning satinwood marquetry inlay and original brass knobs opening to reveal a fitted interior consisting of three drawers with satinwood stringing and original brass handles, eight pigeon holes, two storage compartments and a pull out writing surface with the original green tooled leather above two mahogany inlaid drawers with original brass handles. It stands fantastic on four elegant mahogany inlaid tapering legs with spade feet.

A superior example displaying the highest quality of design and craftsmanship. A truly special piece in lovely original condition and of very desirable proportions.
