Sigh & Søns of Denmark, it features a very thick and heavy overall profile composed entirely of solid oak in a design that is clearly intended to showcase the natural grain of the wood. The top is crafted using laminated lengths of golden oak that were then routed and shaped to create a form devoid of any harsh corners or angles. It is raised on oversized sculpted legs. An eternal piece that will continue to serve into the distant future if well-cared for, this table was made to last the test of time.

Table is minimally refinished; some fading to the top; there is some curving and rippling to the top surface from half a century of shrinking and contracting that is more visible under raking light; shrinkage cracks in the top with thin line of wood filler visible; shrinkage cracks in the legs, these also with a glue or wood filler visible; other shrinkage cracks; these are aesthetic blemishes only and do not in any way weaken the structure; incredibly strong and stable.
