This Pablo Picasso rare vintage 1955 Modernist first edition Cubism lithograph print " Still Life in Landscape " 1915, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The color lithograph print is printed in Japan in 1955. It is a page from an authentic vintage first edition publication of Picasso lithograph prints published by Harry N. Abrams Inc. New York. It features an artwork image originally created by Picasso in 1915 titled " Still Life in Landscape ".
Pablo Picasso ( 1881 - 1973 ) was a Spanish born painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, poet and playwright who spent most of his life in France. He is regarded as one of the most important and influential artists of The Twentieth Century. Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, Picasso achieved universal renown and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the most well known figures in 20th Century Art.
The rare out of print lithograph print plate image is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand to page on the top side edge.
The print plate image measures 8 1/4" W X 6 7/8" H, on a page that is 11 5/8" W X 8 1/8" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
