Signature appears to read as " … more Pre 1900's Antique Victorian Alabaster Stone, Hand Carved and Signed Sculpture, Bust Of Woman. Signature appears to read as " A. Romei ". We could not find anything about the artists, but we believe it is an Italian artist of a French Woman. It is carved with a lot of fine detail. It Measures 21" Tall x 11" Wide x 8" Deep. and weighs aprox 32 lbs. The Bust comes off of the base, so it is 2 pieces. Please see all pictures, Estate sale find. less
