Ceramic lamp base handmade by studio Ernst, Faxe Denmark.
The studio was headed by Ernst Nielsen in the 1970s.
The lamp base is beautifully designed with scaly relief that is covered with shiny lava glaze in red, blue and dark blue.
tapering to the matte black bottom.
A beautiful piece of studio art.
The lamp is signed on the bottom.
The lamp works great with a filement or milky white LED lamp, but you can also place a lampshade.
