Papyri Stool in Walnut with Handwoven Danish Cord
Featuring a mortice and tenon frame and handwoven seat, the Papyri Stool is artisan-crafted from recyclable paper cord, and sustainably harvested walnut.
The seat features a continuous run of Danish paper cord woven around "L Shaped Nails" in a traditional binder-cane method of warped pairs. The stool frame is constructed with floating tenon joinery and each leg is hand-sculpted with spoke shave and file for flowing transition between frame and seat. The stool is finished with a 100% plant-based, hard-wax oil.
