With vibrant and vivid colour, this charming poster designed by the iconic poster designer Pierre Fix-Masseau was created in 1960, advertising French brand Disque Bleu cigarettes. The poster was used for advertisement on the SNCF Railway and reads "C'est fameux" or "It's famous" .
Fix-Masseau collaborated with Disque Bleu and other cigarette brands on many occasions, and his stylised work was synonymous with French advertising of the era with his works for the likes of Bally and the Venice Simplon Orient-Express. This piece is in mint condition and is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come. less
