This wooden, antique chimneypiece is finely carved in oak and has a tall, carved overmantel with porringer corners on the deep cornice, above a large mirrored trumeau. The firebox features an ogee arch and carved scrolls and details.
PROVENANCE: Fireplace from Fanny Brice's Mansion (North Faring Road, Los Angeles, CA, built 1938). Fanny Brice (American, 1891-1951) was a popular headliner at Ziegfeld Follies.
