If you look closely there is also a small silhouette of one lone bird in flight in the middle painting. A sense of distance and depth is beautifully conveyed between the trees in the foreground and the sweeping mountains in the background that stretch all the way across the three paintings. You see shades of green in the trees but this triptych is quite monochromatic with a dominant presence of yellow. Wooden frames have a black finish with gold trim. Each painting is signed on the bottom right corner in Japanese characters.
