It dates to 1956 and originally came from a French magazine. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It's rarity is likely due to its limited publication in only 1 magazine of the time. This is the 2nd time we have found the image in our many years of collecting. This original vintage Mid-Century French advertisement is for prestigious Hermes accessories for women. It features a handbag, glove, scarf, bracelet and riding stirrups under the iconic Hermes label. Note too the detailing of riding boots in the scarf pattern; perfect for the horse lover! Hermes products are chic, highly collectible and eloquent in classic Hermes style. 9 x 11.75 inches in size; comes custom matted in a white 16 x 20 inch mat that works perfectly in a standard size frame.
