Born … more Circa 1965 Original California landscape impressionist oil painting on artist canvas board by listed artist Tess Teresa Razalle-Carter (1888-1972.) Born in Los Angeles, her works can be found in museums and private collections. She lived in Pasadena for many years, becoming strongly associated with Santa Monica later, where her 1942 14th Street studio became somewhat of a center for local artistic culture. The artist married photographer Fred Will Carter, himself distinguished in the art of photography. Signed "T Razalle Carter" lower right. Signed and dated on verso "To Marion and Ferg (sp)from Tess Dec 25th, 1965." Included are the original gold wood frame and hanging hardware/wire. Dimensions: Artwork, 11"L x 14"H; overall including the frame, 14"L x 16"H. Excellent condition!!
