Description: We are selling this great pair of English candlesticks. These candelabra are made by Sheffield makers Nathaniel Smith & Co. … more We are selling this great pair of English candlesticks. These candelabra are made by Sheffield makers Nathaniel Smith & Co. and are marked on the Sterling silver bases for the year 1793 as well, during the Georgian period. The simple Georgian bases are both marked as Sterling and have simple lion rampant engraving on one side. The tops of the candlesticks are Sheffield silver and possibly also by Nathaniel Smith, but are unmarked. Three out of the four bobeches are silverplate, one is sterling and marked. The sticks can be used either as candlesticks or candelabra.

Condition: Good. Some wear to the silverplate tops of the candelabra.
