This Vassily Kandinsky rare vintage 1991 fine art lithograph print custom framed Modernist poster " Une Page Du Carnet A Dessins " 1937, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The offset lithograph print poster is published by The Musee National D'Art Moderne Georges Pompidou, Paris. Printed in Italy in 1991 in an unnumbered limited edition by Arti Graphiche Ricordi S.P.A. - Milano, Grafica G&R Associati. It features an artwork image originally created by Kandinsky in 1937 - 38 titled " Une Page Du Carnet A Dessins ", copyright Vassily Kandinsky by SIAE, 1991.
Vassily Kandinsky ( 1866 - 1944 ) was a Russian born Modern Expressionist painter and art theorist. He is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time, and the pioneer of The Abstract Art Movement. He was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. he is credited with landmark theories relating to his original color compositions and concepts of spiritual life and humanity in his artworks. Art Works by Kandinsky are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print fine art offset lithograph print framed Modernist poster measures 25" W X 34 7/8" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed beveled detailed lavender plum purple matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
