H44 1/4" W39" Sold from the collection of a San Francisco /Upcountry, South Carolina couple.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS: Debbie studied Interior & Textile Design at the London College of Furniture. Patrick studied Sculpture at Bordeaux University, France, and in Ibiza, Spain, where they met.
Amalgamating their ideas they returned to London and APPLIQUE TEXTILE HANGINGS & PICTURES evolved. Working in this medium together, they spent 15 years doing commissions for Interior Designers & Architects for Hotels & Commercial Buildings, as well as exhibiting in Art Galleries worldwide.
In 1987 they felt a yearning for warmer and peaceful climes and now divide their time between France & Spain, where their work is inspired by the surrounding beauty of the contrasting country-sides. They charge their batteries with regular visits to Paris, Barcelona and London.
