The title … Read more This lamp, save for the fact that it needs to be rewired is in very nice overall condition. The title states that it is a Rembrandt. After much investigating it got narrowed down to that brand. It is an attractive piece constructed of brass and cast iron with a fiberglass shade. Top to bottom conditions - The finial is in very good shape. The lamp shade is basically in nice condition but some of the "strings" have broken as they are brittle from age. The fiberglass is damage free with only a couple very small discolored spots to be found. The bridge spanning the two sockets, like the finial is made of iron and is free of any damage or corrosion. The brass cups are both in good shape. All brass pieces heading down the tube look excellent. The interior metal piece is slightly bent but is bendable if one tries. The wiring was removed because it was held together with electrical tape, not only under the base but within the tube, so that had to go - and the base is in very good condition with nice shining brass and few blemishes to be found. Please see the pictures for further details.

This lamp will be shipped disassembled. It is easy to reconstruct by putting the base on the floor, screwing in the inner metal piece, dropping the brass pieces over it in order, mounting the lampshade and screwing on the finial. The wiring is almost as simple as the cord is fed up from the bottom of the base to the top.
