Description: This set was made by Goodwood, made in japan. They were well known for their teak tableware. The dome to … more This set was made by Goodwood, made in japan. They were well known for their teak tableware. The dome to these sets were actually made by Dansk. The design is a solid mid century wheat sheaf on white tile. There are 3 tiny chips on the underside of the tile. It does not affect the use of the board, and you would have to be well invested to find them. I'm picky, what can I say? The attached knife is secured by a chain which keeps the rare knife from getting separated. It can be detached from the base and used with any Goodwood set. Replacement pieces for this set are very hard to find, so I keep it attached at all times. The board has recently had a new coating of food safe mineral oil applied. It should be handwashed only with mild soap and should never be soaked.
The tray is 14"w x 8"d x 1.5"h
The dome is 6.5"w x 6.5"d x 5"h
the knife without the chain is 7"w x .5"d x .5"h less
