Listed American Artist Arthur Carl Johnson Oil on Canvas. Born 1897 in Massachusetts Arthur Johnson joined the movement of Impressionist artists. As a Maritime artist he broke from the New England painters using bight color his Impressionist seascapes that quickly defined the American Impressionism Movement.
A Delightful Seascape of a Red Sailboat returning to the Coast on a nice windy day.
The 16" x 20" Painting is in excellent clean condition, remarkable for it's age. Newish modern black box frame.
