Description: Late 19th century to early 20th century antique Chinese export porcelain altar plate with a flower and bird pattern. It … more Late 19th century to early 20th century antique Chinese export porcelain altar plate with a flower and bird pattern. It was made for the Thai market. This beautiful little enamel stem plate was part of a dinner service or a sam rup kap khoa in Thai. It was probably from the Southern China kilns (probably Fujian Swatow) and was decorated with Wucai enamel for Thailand, Southeast Asia market. It is signed on the sides as well as on top to the left of the bird. Unfortunately, it is hard to read the writing on the top. The last photo shows a rough image of it. less
