1930's 60 piece set of Chinese Rose Canton Medallion Dinnerware. There are many variations of Chinese Porcelain which date back to centuries ago. The majority reflect the patterns that were first applied to porcelain in China at the end of the Kangxi period (Circa 1720). By the end of the 19th Century, these colors and patterns had become the most common of all decorative techniques utilized in China for porcelain. Around 1840, they started to export it, and to this day, they continue to still make and export it.
This hand painted dinnerware set is decorated with 4 panels of Pink and Green designs of peonies surrounded by butterflies and Chinese figures with gold accents.

12 ea 6.5" Bread plates (2 designs, 6 plates each design)
6 ea 4.5"dia soup bowls
5 ea 4"dia tea cups(one with a crack but still useable)
