Desk lamp type TL 238, the light is adjustable and tiltable. The lamp comes from the German Armed Forces, BUND is written on the screen Designed by Bauhaus member Wolfgang Tuempel and manufactured by Waldmann Leuchten, Germany in the 1970s.
Wolfgang Tuempel (1903-1978) was a Bauhaus designer. His work is represented in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and the Bauhaus Museum, Berlin. The illuminants are two fluorescent tubes that cast a bright, even light. This piece has an attribution mark,
