Dramatic original Chinese watercolor on paper with brocade fabric surround and decorative blue and white porcelain zhoutou (ends). Traditional in style, the bold and skilled giant green bamboo stems are depicted with red cherry blossoms, and pine branches on the upper section. A very auspicious trio of items.
Signed by the artist, with a verse in calligraphy will describe the scene.
Three red seal stamps. Roller and zhoutou in good order.
Vintage Mid-20th century.
This piece would look great in a fresh, summery setting in a sun room, conservatory, Florida room or wherever a little colour is needed.
Condition is very good with some very minor signs of age & wear.
