Magnificent antique Anglo-Indian wooden door frame featuring intricate floral inlay and band marquetry framing throughout with two geometric medallions on the left and right side lower panels of the piece. The interior is comprised of an elaborate circular iron trellis interspersed with oblong arches and columns and the joints are secured with iron hardware - both with a lovely soft aqua patina on the metal. This architectural piece is a showstopper for use as a wall decoration or mirror in a home or protected outdoor area, a headboard or as an actual door frame- the contrast between the iron work and the delicate inlay adds an element of texture and bohemian artistry to any setting!
