Hand painted églomisé panel with rural colonial scene and structures. The painted panel has some minor damage/deterioration but the frame and the mirror are in good condition. It could be restored, but is quite charming as it is.
Wood panel behind mirror was replaced at some point and judging by the glazing points, perhaps in the 1980's. Newspaper found between the églomisé panel and wooden backing plate was from 1937. It appears to be otherwise unaltered.
Original flora rosette and tasseled picture hanger is included.
