Sold by Lammert's Furniture and Gift … more A rare serpentine chest of drawers made by Old colony Furniture of Boston, MA. Sold by Lammert's Furniture and Gift Co. of St. Louis, MO. The chest has four serpentine book matched crotch mahogany veneered drawer fronts with cockbeading and solid brass pulls. The top drawer is divided into four equal compartments. The top edge running along the front and sides features detailed foliate and ribbon carving. All of the secondary woods are oak. The chest is raised on four carved bracket feet.
