The piece has a lovely scalloped edge and raised scroll details that are highlighted in gold paint. Of course, the standout here is the portrait of a fashionable socialite, complete with handkerchief, off-the-shoulder pink dress and bun hairdo! This plate can be hung on the wall as art, or used as a decorative bowl or vessel. I purchased from an antique porcelain collector - this is a high quality rare piece. less
