Unique transitional design … more "An especially marvelous find!" 1970s one-of-a-kind black lacquered wood 12-drawer dresser/sideboard by Studio A Rome, entirely handcrafted. Unique transitional design between the 60s, with the happy detail of the clover handles handmade in polished brass, and the 70s, with the architectural statement of a destructured brass frame around the body serving also as legs, mixing Art with Functionality. This shows as well in the quality of the finished back in ivory white lacquer, so that the piece can stay away from the walls, at the end of a bed, at the back of a sofa, as a divider in an open room.
