The sides are finished with a delicate hand-rolled hem and at the bottom, hand-knotted silk bangs. It belongs to a series of hand-embroidered canvases with different and unique designs inspired in the brush strokes used to decorate traditional Iberian ceramics. The embroidery technique used is the one used in Spain to make a traditional shawl, the 'Mantón de Manila', where the embroidery is done by hand with silk thread on silk fabric.
