The original suede was damaged. We were able to recover it using the original cushion, mimicking the intricate patchwork design. The velvet gives it an updated look, the pattern looking fabulous in the patchwork. The leather straps and the pegs have also been replaced yet keeping the original rosewood frame as it started! Percival Lafer was an architect, taking over his family’s furniture business and becoming a renowned furniture designer! less
