- These 19th century consoles are made from Italian oak that is stained in a deep, rich brown. The 2 self-supporting … more These 19th century consoles are made from Italian oak that is stained in a deep, rich brown. The 2 self-supporting consoles with lyre scroll legs take their influence from Spain and these motifs are repeated in the stretchers, as well. Placed together, the tops form an octagonal shape, although it is possible to place together to form one table the tops have warped over time, so no longer are flush. The impressive scroll work on these make a dramatic statement. less
