Probably depicting a scene after stories by Joseph Victor von Scheffel - a famous german literary man in the 19th century. With carved signature: "Rint". Frame renewed. Measures: Width 6.5" (16.5cm) Height 5.12" (13cm) Depth 0.59" (1.5cm). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
