Her face is slightly turned to the right. Her headdress made of curls and braid is completed with a ribbon, a string of pearls and a tiara. On the latter, a fleur-de-lys reminds us of the rank of the young woman with the tragic destiny, while, on the other hand, the queen is represented without jewels, with simplicity.
Her shoulders are covered by a cloth, tied naturally on her chest, leaving a lace underside slightly visible.
This bust rests on a truncated column, in the Louis XVI style, with rudent flutes, and decorated on the front with a crown of laurels.
This work, full of humility, ends with a square terrace.
Everyone will feel empathy or admiration for the woman, the mother or the queen that Marie Antoinette was and who, undoubtedly, will remain an emblematic character of French history.
