This primitive polychrome statue is charming and full of symbolism, from the turquoise mantle to the angel on which she stands. This traditional Brazilian folk art piece was purchased in the 1970s but dates to the earlier in the 20th century (or possibly late 19th). The statue is in good condition overall, with some loss of paint and a few scrapes and other distressed spots. See less
