Single Windsor chair with gorgeous patina and character. I'm an interior designer who grew up with an antique-loving mother. She searched high and low for a set of chairs about 45 years ago, and ended up putting a set together herself from various antique dealers. I'm now selling them individually. From the bit of research I've done I believe this is American, 19th century, Elm and/or Yew wood, and have not been modified, but I'm not positive about those exact details.
* Note: the seat height is not exact because the seat is shaped, so the height varies by about 1/2" depending on whether you measure at the front edge vs. the sides. The seat width is 14” at back and 18” at front.
