Pretty sure they're donkeys, about 90% certain they're mahogany. If you saw these prior to the mineral oil, you know there's a huge difference. They're beyond fantastic. The color in real life is much deeper and darker in normal light. I had to light it up to show the grain. It's absolutely fantastic. The last picture is one of them when it was buffed with a clothe and one that was buffed with a clothe in oil. You'll get the idea. They should only need this once a year or less. This way you don't have to use furniture polish. less
