This distinguished fellow was an English Conservative politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1841 to 1885. (Is that some kind of record?) He was immortalized in the pages of the November 8, 1884 issue of Vanity Fair. His chromolithograph portrait was rendered by the most famous Vanity Fair artist, Sir Matthew Leslie Ward, aka "Spy". Matted in a 16" x 20" pH neutral mat for ease of framing in a readymade frame, this print is in excellent condition as pictured. See less
