The front supports are in the form of winged griffins and the back legs resemble scrolling vines. The benches have several coats of paint which have acquired a beautiful desirable natural patina and have only minimal indications of rust. Both benches are solid and very heavy. I would not restrict their use to garden settings as they would make beautiful entry or pared dining room pieces. less
