Set of Rare Cocktail Forks in Gold Tone From Buffums’ Dept.
~ This absolutely wonderful set of cocktail forks is what mid-century design dreams are made of! These beautiful little golden treasures come in the velvety Buffums' storage dust bag to keep the shiny and ready for guests. The feature a wonderful bamboo-like shape to the handle. They do look rather fetching while anchoring an olive in a martini and are perfect for spearing a bacon-wrapped scallop or some other little delicacy. Cheers & Bon Appetite!
The Buffums company began in 1904 when brothers Charles A. and Edwin E. Buffum bought the largest dry goods store in Long Beach, CA. The name was originally written as Buffums' with an apostrophe, and later changed. Over the years, more locations opened and the stores gained a reputation as the “Grand Dame” of department stores in the Southern California area.
