Meticulous hand painted Japanese Centre Plate or Charger with enamels in the Kakiemon palette. Traditional Japanese design with a magnificent carved white phoenix in the central portion, surrounged by 3 sections of pines and floral sections that are interpsersed with 3 sections of orange/salmon pink waves.
Marked with the Fukagawa hallmark in red together with an impressed porcelain mark.
Excellent condition.
