Hopkins and Wallace, when married, shared a studio in Sullivan County, NY in the 1960-70s. Colorful and vibrantly rich surface and texture. This piece is signed on the reverse and bares the signature style of Hopkins and her body of work. Clearly influenced by Hans Hofmann and his teachings. This particular piece dates from the 1970s.

Good overall condition with no visible paint losses, checking, crazing, rips, tears or restorations.
