The original protector button is on the back of the chair can be removed if desired. The chair is very comfortable to sit in, and the upholstered arms add comfort as well. There is some wear and scuffing on the legs and vinyl, as well as a small pin hole on one arm. Overall, the chair is in excellent vintage condition. It is a beautiful piece of classic Mid-Century Modern style. less
