Description: This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Original Rack of 3 Antique American Horse Drawn Winter Snow Sleigh Bells. American in … more This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Original Rack of 3 Antique American Horse Drawn Winter Snow Sleigh Bells. American in Origin - Circa late 19th Century. The Fine Quality Bells are Heavy Solid Cast Brass and they have Loud - Lovely Combined Ring Tones. The Bells are Mounted on a Wrought Iron Bar with Heavy Gauge Leather Attachments - Belts & Buckles. Note that the Original Leather has some damage - Imperfections that would have occurred over many years of use and exposure to the elements. The Bells are Graduated in Size so that Each Bell has a Sightly Different Ring Tone. As Used They would have been Attached - Hung from one of the Sleighs or Buggy's Horse Harnesses. They have that Classic Sleigh Bell Sound. Back in the day these types of Bells were actually Used as a Safety Precaution to let people Hear You Coming While Traveling - In Motion so as to Prevent Possible Accident Situations. The Set Displays Very Nicely.
