Chinese export porcelain tea caddy in the form of a baluster shaped vase with lid. One side decorated with a landscape scene of a farmer resting beneath a tree with two oxen; the opposite side with rockwork en grisaille. Rare to find this combination of glaze techniques. The prunus or cherry tree continues from the body of the vase up through the lid. Good condition - small rim chip to the lid professionally repaired. Measures 5 1/2" tall. See less
