Moscow. 1874 An essential attribute of a wedding ceremony, the rite of bread and salt, as a sign of generous hospitality and well-being. Assumes frank openness of the family and dinner parties. Originally executed as a skirt / tablecloth, with living folds and a cloisonné enamel belt. The four-leaf buckle organically and naturally finds a lodgment in the silver fabric of the material, and thus ensures the organic unity of the object and the image. The full stamp of Pavel Ovchinnikov under the coat of arms on the salt shaker. And the small stamp of P.O. in an oval, the city hallmark of Moscow in 1874, Viktor Savinkov. 84 standard silver - on the outside of the skirt. Total weight: 208 gr. less
