The "Haagse Stijl" is strongly influenced by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and brought to the Netherlands by Hendrik Petrus Berlage (see his masterpiece the Haagse Gemeente museum 1933) which was of great inportance to the Dutch architecture and furniture design from 1890 to the 1930s. This floorlamp combines soberness and functionality. The oak at some parts is stained black (not lacquered) which was quite common in these days. Great piece. This piece has an attribution mark,
