This little painting features a Mother displaying a toy soldier to a young infant. The highly stylized interior was certainly by an accomplished artist, the painting is signed with a two letter RD cypher that we cannot break. The painting probably dates to the late 19th century.

Condition: Good, stretcher appears to have been cut down.
