Does not run thru to the back, holding tight for now, but clearly a flaw that should be noted. If I were going to keep this, would glue and clamp this, should tighten it up pretty good. At 160 pounds this chair sits fine and is solid, no wobble or play. Leather and stitching is solid, no cracks, no breaks, no loss, no loose seams. Leather shows consistent patina, water staining, expected signs of age, wear etc. Wood frame is generally solid, and free of repairs. Two of the ball shaped trim pieces have been broken off on the right hand side. The wood finish is good to fair, has moderate scratches, signs of age, corner/edge rubs, foot scuffs etc. Please study photos for the best description and send any questions, being sold as found. Arte Sano saddle leather side chair, retains original label under the seat. Kiln dried White Walnut, outstanding construction and the leather will outlast us all. Handsome example but this chair has expected patina, signs of age and a small, partial crack in a back leg. Looks great, useable as found in a local estate. Please study photos and read full condition report, send any questions you may have.
Stand 31.5" tall, 19.25" wide, 19.25" deep, seat is about 16.5" high at the middle.
