The set features a small footed "vase" that was used for holding cigarettes and a round ashtray with two indents for cigarettes and ashes. I believe it is European and in the Boheme style. It reflects the light in such a pretty way! I don't smoke, but I love these old pieces! Today, I would use one for earrings/trinkets and the taller for small flowers or q-tips.
