Oil painted on canvas in the 60's by a local painter from Amposta (Ricard Noé), a village in the south of Catalonia in the heart of the Ebro Delta. The theme of the painting revolves around a day's work of farmers in the Ebro Delta planting rice by hand as it was done in the old days, in the traditional way. The painting also shows a hunting dog, a very consolidated hobby in the Ebro Delta.
This painting is mounted on a wooden frame with relief, very worked in the carving, finished in aged gold leaf with patina.
