19th Century Sheraton revival satinwood and inlaid writing desk / cabinet attributed to Edwards & Roberts, the inlaid shaped frieze … Read more 19th Century Sheraton revival satinwood and inlaid writing desk / cabinet attributed to Edwards & Roberts, the inlaid shaped frieze having chequer line inlaid quarter round shelves below flanking the fall profusely inlaid including a pair of birds drinking from a fountain, the fall dropping down to reveal various compartment spaces with a lovely shaped frieze and two drawers with original brass lion mask ring handles, there is a further single oak lined drawer below the fall, the bottom section there is an incurved oak lined drawer at the centre with original brass turned handles, the drawer front and the sides of the cabinet having decorative floral inlay, supported on elegant square tapering inlaid legs terminating on ormolu feet.
